Lessie AI — A people-search AI agent that finds the person you want to meet and pins down their contact details

Released in September 2025 by SUPERLINEAR TECHNOLOGY PTE. LTD. of Singapore, Lessie AI is an AI agent specialized in searching for people. You simply describe the person you are looking for in everyday language — “someone leading growth at a B2B SaaS company in North America,” for example — and it sweeps more than 100 data sources including LinkedIn, X, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, GitHub, company websites, and news articles, then returns a list of people scored by how well they match your criteria. Unlocking email addresses and phone numbers, exporting to a CRM, and generating individual outreach copy all happen on the same platform. That coverage makes it applicable to any job that involves finding people: sales lead generation, recruiting, influencer discovery, and investor sourcing.

Key Features

  • Specify criteria in natural language: There is no need to master Boolean search strings or filter combinations — you write the profile you want in plain prose. It handles fuzzy conditions such as “skincare creators on Instagram with 50K–500K followers”
  • Sweeps more than 100 data sources: Social platforms, company sites, job postings, podcasts, and news articles are scanned at the same time. Major platforms alone number more than 20, so it does not depend on a single database
  • Scoring of candidates: Candidates are scored on persona match, level of activity, and how easy they are to reach, so you can work down the list from the top. The official site claims 95% contact accuracy
  • Contact unlocking and list export: Email addresses and phone numbers for the candidates you find can be unlocked by spending credits, and lists can be exported in a form your CRM or ATS can ingest
  • Automatic outreach copy and delivery: Personalized email and DM copy is generated for each candidate and can be sent as an email campaign from within the product
  • Callable from external agents via Skills and CLI: Install with npx skills add LessieAI/lessie-skill -y -g and call functions such as find_people, enrich_people, and find_organizations directly from Claude Code and other MCP-capable agents
  • Free tools and directories: Single-purpose free tools such as email verification, company research, and job description generation are published, along with themed lists of people

All paid plans include access to Skills and the CLI, unlimited conversations, email and phone unlocking, export of task results, email campaigns, and high-frequency search.

The main credit costs are 2 credits per person to view a fully matching candidate, 3 credits per item to unlock an email address, 8 credits per item to unlock a phone number, and 20 credits per request for find_people via Skills. Simply starting a task or looking at partially matching results does not deduct credits.

Pricing is current as of August 2026. Check the official site for the latest information.

Pros & Cons

Pros

  • Because search criteria are written as prose, the learning curve is lower than with database-style lead generation tools
  • Finding candidates, identifying contact details, drafting outreach copy, and sending it are all completed in one tool
  • Sweeping social platforms and news means creators and sole proprietors who rarely appear in business databases are also in scope
  • Skills and the CLI let you build the people-search step itself into agents such as Claude Code
  • The credit system means you are charged only when a result comes back

⚠️ Cons

  • The pricing page lists no free plan, and even the cheapest Basic plan starts at $99 per month, which is heavy for individual use
  • Since results include inferences from public information, the 95% accuracy figure is the vendor’s own claim and verification before sending is still necessary
  • Credits are spent for every contact unlocked, so costs mount faster than expected when handling large lists
  • Launched in September 2025, it is a young service with a limited track record for long-term operation and little information available in Japanese
  • Handling of the personal data you collect remains the user’s responsibility under GDPR and each country’s data protection laws

Who Is It For

  • Sales and business development staff who want to find people matching their criteria, including segments missing from industry databases

  • Recruiters and startup founders who want to build their own candidate pools
  • Startups continuously looking for investors and partner candidates

Summary

Lessie AI is a people-search agent that links, through natural language instructions, three steps that used to live in separate tools: finding people, identifying their contact details, and writing the first message. What sets it apart is that it reaches creators and individuals where database-style lead generation tools are thin, and that it can be called from external agents through Skills and the CLI. On the other hand, there is no free plan on offer and the entry point is $99 per month, so it is worth estimating how often your work actually involves finding people and weighing that against credit consumption. Because the contact accuracy figure is the vendor’s claim, plan on checking results with your own eyes before any real outreach.
